Fr’Inglewood lit up Beaufort Street during the Fringe World seasons of 2019 and 2020, transforming the Monday Night Food Markets into a hub of colour, wonder and performance. With a line-up of over 30 artists featured each week, the series brought the magic of Fringe right into the heart of Inglewood, creating unforgettable nights for locals and visitors alike.
From pirates and fairies to astronauts, magicians and even roaming reptiles, Fr’Inglewood offered a truly eclectic mix of entertainment. The program combined roving performers, live music and immersive acts with the lively market atmosphere, cementing Inglewood as a vibrant Fringe destination.
In 2023, Fr’Inglewood was recognised with the Best Community Event award at the Perth Fringe World Awards — a testament to the creativity, collaboration and community spirit at the heart of the series.
